Recall that last week the Cyprus government deprived the "golden" passports of seven foreign investors and 19 of their close relatives.

In total, after coming to power (February 1, 2023), the new President Nicos Christolidis recalled 150 “gold” passports (41 + 109).

According to Phileleftheros, these decisions "confirm the government’s desire to restore the reputation of the Republic of Cyprus at the international level."
