Parliament hosts the Conference of Presidents of Parliament Small States of Europe

The House of Representatives will host, on September 15 and 16, 2025, in Nicosia, the 18th Conference of Presidents of the Small States of Europe, at the invitation of the President of the House of Representatives Annita Dimitriou.

The issues of the three thematic sections of the Conference are "Participatory Democracy: bringing parliaments closer to citizens". The second theme will concern "artificial intelligence: challenges, opportunities and best practices for the parliaments of small states". Finally, the third theme will be entitled "Little States in hectic times of world instability".
