The blue and white team of Sofronis Augustis tried, they had a relative, but useless territorial superiority, with Koun stopping the ball on two occasions, before it went into the nets. The victory did not come, but this does not deter Apollos, who will face Aris next Sunday as the home team.
Apollon's coach, Sofronis Augusti, after the game against Anorthosis, stated the following: "We are not satisfied with the score. Anorthosis was very well organized. We worked on that part, especially from the flanks, but a proper cross didn't come out. The defensive line of Anorthosis had an easy afternoon. We keep score. It was important for us to reach the top positions. It's a shame, we could have produced energy and balls. Sometimes changes help, in today's game we didn't get things from them. In the previous one the changes helped so we got a point. We tried to create but we were harmless. I agree with Timur. It was a strong game that any team could win. In the end, it was a fair result.
