Tragedy in Nicosia: Charred body from a fire in the storage area of ​​an apartment building

Tragedy occurred on Christmas Day. After extinguishing a fire in a storage area located on the roof of an apartment building in Nicosia, a charred body was found.

The fire broke out on Wednesday night, shortly after midnight, and it required the intervention of the police and the fire service to extinguish it.

According to information, the competent authorities have a direction for the identity of the victim, which will however be determined after the laboratory tests and the legal autopsy.

The causes of the fire in the storage area are being investigated by the police and the Electromechanical Service.
