Mystery surrounds the deaths of four members of the same family in Liechtenstein.
Two men and two women found dead this week were all members of the same family, said Liechtenstein police investigating the unusual case.
Police said the body of a 41-year-old man was found on the Swiss side of the Rhine river on Wednesday. As it turned out, it was a high-ranking employee of the municipality of Triesen, who was fired a few days earlier, due to irregularities in the accounting books.
Police later found a 73-year-old man and two women, aged 68 and 45, dead in an apartment. These people were the parents and sister of the municipal employee. The authorities will proceed with the autopsy to determine the cause of their death.
