Mariah Carey, the undisputed 'Queen of Christmas', has kept up her annual tradition again this year by releasing the highly anticipated video that officially kicks off the countdown to the holiday season.
This year's clip, which has already gone viral, features the five-time Grammy-winning artist joining forces with comedian and actor Billy Eichner, in collaboration with a famous cosmetics brand.
The video begins with the star dressed as an angel declaring that "Halloween was great... but now it's time." However, the moment is interrupted when she discovers that her favorite beauty products are missing.
"Tell me, who is the thief?" asks the famous singer with Eichner dressed as an "elf" and holding the bag of cosmetics answering her: "Bad manta, Mariah Carey... The elves are on strike this year. Revenge for the years of Christmas hell. Santa's helper quit and I'm going to sell all of this so I can pay for the elves' treatment."
However, Carey is unfazed and confronts him with the phrase: "You can't cancel Christmas."
With a bit of Christmas magic and her lovely voice saying "it's time!", the star freezes Eichner, turning him into a snowman. At the same time, she transforms into a glamorous version of Mrs. Claus, while the first notes of her iconic Christmas carol, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" are heard.
The clip continues with Carey appearing on a sleigh, traveling through snowy New York and dropping gifts down chimneys. Eichner, now a snowman, monologues: "Okay, I'm a snowman now, great!"
The video closes with the sleigh flying over the Statue of Liberty accompanied by the phrase "It's time" in gold letters.
