The Parliament voted to increase the technical inspection fee for vehicles.
Based on the new regulation, the fee paid at private vehicle technical control centers increases from 35 to 43 euros, while at public vehicle technical control centers from 40 to 46 euros.
The increase concerns motor vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats, excluding the driver, and trucks with a gross weight of up to 3,500 kg.
The law was passed with 40 votes in favor and one against, while an amendment to review the fees every eight years was also passed.
